MOPS exists to help meet the unique needs of mothers of preschoolers by providing encouragement, resources, instruction, and a place for mothers of young children (conception through the end of Kindergarten) to build relationships with other moms as we strive to be better wives, mothers, homemakers, and friends.
MOPS International - MOPS International is an organization that started in 1973. Approximately 4,000 local groups meet in 35 countries impacting over 110,000 mothers of preschoolers.
Many more women are encouraged by MOPS resources including MOMsense radio and magazine, the MOPS website and MOPS brand books.
During our group meetings we get to know each other, learn from our Mentor Moms, and discuss a book each year. During our meeting there is a children's program (MOPPETS) where your children are making friends, doing crafts, and hearing Bible stories in a safe, fun and loving environment.
Other Monthly Activities - Besides our monthly meeting, we have fun activities like playgroups and field trips planned for moms and their kids on the fourth Friday of each month. Each month we also have a Mom's Night Out where you can get a break and get out with other moms for an evening.
There are also activities for the entire family planned. Even though our monthly meetings go from September to May, we have activities planned throughout the summer. If you have any questions about our MOPS group you can contact us at "mopsffc (at) gmail (dot) com".
