Music Ministry

Worship

Here at Faith Family Church, we believe worship is the reason we were created. Everything we do in our ministry is done with the goal of bringing ourselves and others to worship God.

Worship is eternal, so when we worship together, specifically on Sunday morning, we get a small taste of what heaven will be like.

The reason for our passion regarding worship is getting to know God better by spending time in His presence. I want to encourage everyone to spend time with Him, sitting in His presence each day.

Music Groups

There are many musical groups here at Faith Family Church where you can both serve God and grow in your musical abilities. Speak with Judy Andrews or Randy Cotter via the contact us form below to get involved!

Praise Team - The Praise Team is open to teen and adult members of Faith Family Church. Any band/orchestral instruments are welcome. An audition is required. The praise team plays along with our congregational singing for both Sunday morning services. The praise team occasionally accompanies solo vocalists for special music. We practice Thursday nights at 6:30 pm, and Sunday morning at 7:45 am.

Choir - The adult choir of FFC is open to all church members, age 15 and up. You do not have to audition to be in the choir, but we do ask that you be faithful. Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, and briefly on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am. We sing almost every Sunday at the 10:30 am service and occasionally at the 8:30 am service.

Women of Praise - a group made up of 9 ladies from our adult choir, singing traditional S.S.A. parts, and sometimes adding the tenor part. We enjoy Brooklyn Tabernacle style songs, and it is a blessing to sing together once each quarter. All music is memorized.

Voices of Praise a group consisting of select (auditioned) members from our adult choir. This group uses S,A,T,B parts and we enjoy a variety of musical styles in our repertoire. VOP usually sings in both services once each quarter, and all music is memorized.

A Cappella Praise a group consisting of 12 adult choir members who have been selected to sing once a quarter in both Sunday services. All music is memorized, and we use S,A,T,B parts, with some voicing splitting into 2 or more parts. We enjoy a variety of musical styles, including spirituals, traditional anthems, and contemporary praise.
